Mrs. Cacko’s Music Class
About Mrs. Cacko
I am happy to have been able to call Father Andrew White my “professional home” for the past 10 years! I love teaching music at FAW as I get to work with every child in the school and get to know them throughout the school year. Another bonus is that I get to be involved with many of the exciting, special events that happen at FAW as well. I love this part of teaching and feel blessed that I have been able to come back to the classroom after a 10 year hiatus. After getting my teaching degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, my husband and I moved to Charles County where I taught for 5 years in the public schools. After the birth of our first son, I left the classroom to work part time as an interpreter for PaxNAS and in/around the DC metro area. In that timeframe, I was given the opportunity to participate in the Papal Mass Choir when Pope Benedict visited Washington DC. At that same time, I also joined the Catholic Church (officially!) and became Catholic. That conversion to Catholicism also led me back to teaching in a Catholic School setting.
My oldest two sons have transitioned out of FAW but I still have a son and a daughter here at the school. The Cacko family enjoys travelling to places near and far. We enjoy hiking, kayaking and going to concerts & various sporting events. We most enjoy watching Mr. Cacko play Rugby!
