Welcome to Father Andrew White School

Father Andrew White School (FAW) was established in 1954.  It is a Pre-K through 8th Grade Catholic School sponsored by the Archdiocese of Washington, DC and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement.  We look at each child as a gift from God and focus on Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow and Living Our Faith.  Father Andrew White School embodies the true spirit of learning, as evidenced by receiving the 2012 National Blue Ribbon Award for Excellence in Academics.  We are building future leaders while embracing Christian values.

Father Andrew White School, located in Leonardtown, MD. FAW Staff begin each year with an opening  of schools mass at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Students earn treats for having FAW-riffic behavior each month. Every classroom has a Smartboard. Students have Computer/Library once a week. Students participate in monthly mass at St. Aloysius 1st grade loves having outside recess time. Retreat theme: "Do Small Things with Great Love"-Saint Mother Teresa Every year we have a school retreat at Camp Maria. 2nd grade class STEM is offered for grades 5-8 Students celebrating the National Blue Ribbon Award. FAW is a 2012 National Blue Ribbon School. FAW now has a 3D printer available for all students to use.
