Students in Grades K-8 have Art class once a week. Students study art history and the goal is for students to become familiar with various works of art and time periods in art. In each grade,students will learn different theories,principles,and elements involved in creating and understanding art,such as color theory,lines,texture,space,repetition,proportion,balance,etc. Students will develop and apply skills using a variety of two and three dimensional media,tools,and processes. Students will also learn about various careers in art.
