Mrs. Pietsch’s Library Class

About Mrs Pietsch

This is my 19th year at Father Andrew White School and my 10th year as the Librarian.  When I began teaching here, our son was in 1st grade and I never dreamed that I would still be here through his college years, but I love this place – all of our kids, families and staff.  I grew up in Arnold, Maryland, went to high school at Severna Park HS and have a BS and MBA from the University of Maryland in accounting and finance.  I met my husband during his plebe year at the US Naval Academy and after 26 years of active duty Navy life together, we settled in Leonardtown and plan for this to be our “forever home.”  We have two children, Jennifer is a graduate of the Ohio State University and currently teaches at OSU and is working on her MSW.  Our son, Paul Jr. is a recent graduate of  the University of Maryland.  I am on the Board of Directors at Camp Maria Retreat Center and have run my own direct sales business for 19 years.   I love teaching at FAW because our students are our number one priority – we have so many opportunities for them to find what they enjoy, whether it is in STEM, theater, art, athletics, etc., and for them to succeed.

FAW students love to read!
