About Mrs. Sarlo
I teach Middle School Math, 8th Grade Science, and 5th Grade Science Lab and have 8th grade homeroom. I was born here in Leonardtown and attended St. John’s in Hollywood for elementary school and St. Mary’s Academy for high school when it was all girls (now CSM). I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Maryland and my Graduate degree from Towson University. I’ve taught in Baltimore City Schools and The Department of Defense Schools in Germany. After I married in Europe I settled back here in Southern Maryland. I briefly taught in St. Mary’s County Public Schools before having my four children. When I returned to teaching after eight years I found my home here at Father Andrew White where I love coming to school each day and sharing my love and passion for Science.
