We had 2 winners for the American Legion Essay Contest. There were 3 divisions represented: Grades 3 & 4, Grades 5 & 6 and Grades 7 & 8. The Banquet was held on Sunday March 18, 2012. Over 436 essays were received. Sam Morgan (Gr. 5) and Aubri Wallo (Gr. 8 ) both won second place in their divisions and represented FAW very well. Other schools winners were Mother Catherine Spalding, Mechanicsville Elementary and Margaret Brent.
