We’re excited to kick off the 2026–2027 school year together at our Back to School Bash at Camp Maria Retreat Center (41290 Camp Maria Rd, Leonardtown, MD 20650) on Saturday, August 29, 2026!
As we begin a new school year, we are grateful for the gift of our FAW community and the opportunity to grow together in faith and friendship. Inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s call to “build up community, friendship as brothers and sisters,” this celebration is a chance to reconnect with old friends, welcome new families, and strengthen our school community.
Mass & Dinner
We’ll begin with an outdoor Mass at 4:00 p.m. Please wear appropriate church attire.
Following Mass, the Knights of Columbus will generously provide hamburgers and hot dogs. Families are asked to bring a dish to share through the Sign-Up Genius. We also encourage families to sign up for volunteer opportunities—many hands make light work!

The Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department will also be joining us to help cool everyone down with a special water spray!
Water Activities
Since many activities are water-based, please plan accordingly. Girls should wear one-piece or tankini-style swimsuits, and boys should wear swim trunks with appropriate prints. A swim shirt or T-shirt is recommended for the foam cannon and slip ’n slide.
Admission & Tuition Raffle
Admission is $15 per car.
Purchase your tickets early to be entered into a raffle for a $500 tuition credit!
