Dear Family and Friends of FAW,

We are writing this appeal because we desperately need your help today: after years of patches and repairs, our school roof must be replaced. As you might expect, this is not an insignificant project.

However, we cannot afford to delay getting a new roof and risking additional leaks that may escalate costs further.

Earlier this month, Father Andrew White School was named a National
Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education.

As one of only 50 private schools in the country – and the only school, public or private, in Southern Maryland – to receive this honor in 2012, we take great pride in this special recognition.

However, this award is also a reminder that our work to create a great school extends beyond the classroom.

It is critically important that we have your support so we can meet our $30,000 goal for this year’s annual fund and replace our roof. If we don’t secure
sufficient funds, we will jeopardize other projects that are no less important to the school’s vitality and continued development.

We are hopeful that you will consider a gift of $250 to this year’s fund so that we can replace our roof and ensure the good works that go on each day in our classrooms will continue uninterrupted.

Please use the enclosed envelope to return your decision to us as quickly as possible. In the meantime, should you have any questions, we encourage you to contact us about this year’s goals and objectives for the Annual Fund.

Sincerely,

Rev. John T. Dakes
Director
