Sunday , January 29, 2012 – Faith. Academics. Service. In Our Parishes
- F.A.W. students will participate in the 11:00 Masses at our 3 parishes. Students will serve as lectors, gift bearers, and altar servers.
- All FAW students are requested to wear their school uniforms to Mass today.
- A student at each parish Mass will read their essay on what my Catholic School means to me.
Monday , January 30, 2012- Faith. Academics. Service. In Our Community
- Student alumni will speak to students about what a difference Catholic Schools made in their lives.
- Kick-Off of School-wide Service Project. Each class will be asked to donate specific items for packages to be sent to the troops in Afghanistan.
Tuesday, January 31, 2012-Faith. Academics. Service. In Our Nation
- Red, White, Blue tag day
- Classes will study “A Taste of U.S. History” on topics such as American scientists, inventors, military heroes, U.S. symbols, etc. Two speakers from each class will offer presentations at an assembly.
Wednesday, February 1, 2012-Faith. Academics. Service. In Our Students
- Student Tag Day- Wear your favorite team jersey
- No Homework night
- Student treats: PreK-3: movie; grades 4,5,6: roller-skating; grades: 7,8: bowling
- Family Math Night 6:00-8:00
Thursday, February 2, 2012-Faith. Academics. Service. In Our Vocations
- Our three priests are invited to attend morning prayers.
- Several Seminarians will visit to speak to the students.
- Students will write letters to seminarians studying for our diocese.
- Open House will take place 9:30-11:00.
Friday, February 3, 2012-Faith. Academics. Service. In Our Faculty, Staff & Volunteers
- Our teachers will serve as lectors and gift bearers at our first Friday Mass. We will have special treats for our staff, bus drivers and parent volunteers.
- Students will make thank you cards for their parents to show their appreciation for sending them to Catholic School.
Saturday, February 4, 2011-Faith. Academics. Service. In Our Home and School Association
- Our Home and School Association will host an Italian dinner and Brown Bag Auction.
